The WET
in the City National Office does grant permission to reprint
and/or adapt WET in the City activities for use in the water
education publications of other organizations. The following
guidelines are provided to give you an idea of the general
procedures for receiving reprint permission and the circumstances
and extent to which such permissions are typically granted.
The guidelines in no way confer permission to reprint or adapt
any WET in the City material.
General
Guidelines:
- A maximum of three (3) activities
may be reprinted by any one organization.
- Adaptations of activities are permitted
on a case-by-case basis.
- An Administration and Processing
Fee will be charged on a per activity basis for reprint/adaptation
permissions. This fee may be negotiable.
- Proper credit must be included
in any publication containing reprinted or adapted WET in
the City activities.
- No publications containing reprints
or adaptations of WET in the City activities are to be sold
for profit.
In
order for the WET in the City National Office to grant reprint
permissions, the following information must be submitted to
us in writing on organizational letterhead:
- The
name of the activities you plan to reprint
- Explanation
of how the materials will be used in their reprinted form
- Indicate
whether or not the reprinted materials are to be sold for
a profit or made available for download from the Internet.
- Indicate
whether or not the reprinted materials would be adapted
in any way and if so, include copies of the adaptations
with your request.
You
will be notified via mail, e-mail, or facsimile of your reprint
permission grant or denial within two weeks. You will receive
a Reprint Permission Order Form with your reprint permission
grant notification for ordering the reprints that you have
requested.
