WET Works Archives

  • Please submit articles to Jennifer Paschke at jpaschke@wetcity.org by attaching a Microsoft Word document (containing the unformatted text of your article) to an email message. Please include "WET Works submission" in the subject line of the email and include your contact information in case we have questions or need to get in touch with you regarding your submission.
  • Please note that all articles will be printed with a by-line unless you specifically request otherwise and/or if the author is under 18 years of age (student submissions are welcome). Please include your name and organization, as you would like it to appear.
  • Articles may be edited for space and content, as necessary.
  • Photos may be submitted electronically by attaching a graphics file to an email. TIFF format (for Mac) is preferred, but JPEGs can be converted on this end if necessary. Please do not send photos embedded in a Word Document. I can cut and paste, but often at the expense of image quality!
  • Photos may also be submitted via snail mail. Regrettably, we cannot return photos submitted by mail.
  • Please obtain permission to use his or her image from each of the subjects in your photos (or parental guardian if subjects are children under the age of 18) before submitting photographs for use in WET Works. If you would like to see samples of our media release forms (adult and child versions available), please contact me at 713-520-1936 or jpaschke@wetcity.org.
  • Please include appropriate captions with all submitted photographs (If sent electronically, these can be sent in the body of an email or attached as a text document).
  • You may submit logos or other graphic artworks electronically (or via snail mail as above for photos) by attaching graphics file to an email. Adobe Illustrator EPS files are preferred for all logos and graphics. I can convert other formats on this end, but image quality may decline. Raster-based files (GIF, JPEG, etc) may be especially problematic. Please do not send graphics embedded in a Word document.
