Water Stewardship Project: Water-themed
Festival

Administrators,
faculty and staff of Hogg Middle School join students in
proclaiming school spirit and pride for being designated as
the very first
Team WET School in Houston...and in the nation.
Teachers
experiment with "A Recipe for Clean Water," comparing
homemade "green" cleaning products to commercial
products, during a campus-wide WET in the City educator workshop.

From
science to language arts to math to music, teachers from across
the disciplines came together for one of two WET in the City
educator workshops presented at Hogg.

The answer, the anticipation, the correct question and the celebration...Hogg teachers enjoy a rousing game of "Water Jeopardy" during the festival "try-its" featured as part of a "How to Organize a School Water Festival" advanced training workshop.

Hogg Middle School announced its upcoming water festival to the local
neighborhood by handing out flyers and hanging colorful banners on each
of its four perimeter fences. All advertising was distributed in both
English and Spanish to address the needs of the community.
