U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, answers questions from teachers at Alice Carlson Applied Learning Center.

Teachers at Alice Carlson Applied Learning Center learn about the physical properties

WET in the City Curriculum & Activity Guide.

 

Planning and Implementing a Water Stewardship Project


October 2006: Teachers and volunteers at Alice Carlson Applied Learning Center will work to create a bog in the corner of their Outdoor Learning Environment.

December 2006: Initial work has begun to create three aquatic areas in the Outdoor Learning Environment at Alice Carlson Applied Learning Center.

   
   

December 2006: Donnette Durham (Team WET Schools Coordinator at Alice Carlson),

John Davis (Urban Biologist with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department),

Sharon Chastain (Master Gardener from Tarrant County) and Jeannie Robinson

(Principal of Alice Carlson Applied Learning Center) discuss the work plans for

adding aquatic areas to the Outdoor Learning Environment.
